Samantha Le Roux is an enthusiastic, determined, and passionate woman who left high school at 14 to run their family restaurant business. She continued her career in hospitality both in South Africa and London. Upon her return to South Africa, Samantha began a career in the IT industry with some of South Africa’s leading blue-chip companies.
After achieving accolades for her consistent performance, Samantha realized her true strength lay in developing people and left the IT industry to establish a successful mentorship business. Her passion for enlightening and uplifting those not fully resonating a life well-lived became her focus. Today, Samantha is the inspirational founder of Cornerstone Family born out of Samantha’s personal experience of domestic abuse.
Jenni, a business graduate, transitioned from corporate work at SAB to self-employment as an export consultant. In 1997, she began counselling and coaching, focusing on relationships. With a passion for self-development, she created the "My Divine Design" program for women. Jenni enhanced her coaching skills at the International Coaching Institute in Australia and volunteers at Cornerstone Family to secure corporate funding and co-facilitate the Path to Peace series. Her work experience has been facilitating the role of self-esteem at a correctional services facility and the recovery course for addiction.
May McCarthy has a passion for the work that Cornerstone Cares is doing to help improve lives. May brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to aide in the mission of Cornerstone Cares. Since 1982, May has founded and grown seven successful companies in a variety of industries with the largest having over $100 million in annual revenues. She has worked for Fortune 500 companies like Johnson & Johnson, CareFusion and Boeing. May is an Angel investor and advisor to start-up companies through a variety of organizations including Seattle University, the Washington Technology Industry Association, the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association, Trinity University and The University of Texas Health. May is involved in a variety of philanthropic and educational service organizations and has served on several Business, Educational and non-for-profit Boards. She is a guest University lecturer and professional member of the National Speakers Association sharing successful business growth strategies that make work and goal attainment more fun! May has learned through successes, mistakes, and extreme challenges the importance of effective planning in advance to succeed in business and life. She uses her real-world examples to illustrate the value in creating specific goals, focusing on the outcomes desired, and differentiating your business culture, products, services, and customer response to win the business!
May is passionate about helping companies and employees to learn to succeed and achieve all of the goals that they desire. Through workshops and her best-selling book, The Path to Wealth: Seven Spiritual Steps for Financial Abundance, she teaches others how to partner with their source of intuition and rely on the messages they receive to achieve more of their goals, dreams, and desires. After sharing her simple 7 step system with thousands of people in workshops across the globe, they are achieving more of their goals while having more fun in the process. Everyone can do this!
